Best 'lightweight' smartphone?

Hey all!
I was looking for a compact smartphone, but I had to give up on that. The only options seem to be iPhone mini (worried about battery issues I'm having with my work iPhone), Zenfone 8 (way overpriced) and Pixel 4a (just not for me overall).
I will try to adapt to bigger phones, but I should consider other parameters:

• as thin as possible
• as small as possible (while not being compact)
• rounded borders for improved one-hand grip
• possibly launched in 2021 (might consider late 2020)
• max budget 400€, would like to spend around 300€ as I'm not really convinced on this style of huge phones

What are my options here? Please no Samsung (I've had huge issues and I hate the software) and OnePlus (just returned one due to overheating).
