along with panasonic blu ray players, i thought the sony bdp550 would have run it close!

Last time I used Yamaha AV Receiver model RX-V800, I hate the "EFFECT OFF" words displayed on its screen when DSP function not in use. Why do the company do that? For that reason, i switched to other brands. I hope that Yamaha newer models are not continuing that mistake.
