I've been researching a solution to converting my CD collection to digital files and then playing music via ethernet, wifi, and possibly bluetooth from disc and streaming services like Deezer.

It seems that there are many alternative streaming devices out there with the inputs, sound quality that I require but one thing that seems crucial to enjoyment is that the Android (I'm allergic to Apple) app that controls the whole thing must be really usable and flexible.

Which manufacturers have a really good Andoid control app?

I'm considering Denon, Marantz, Cambridge, Onkyo and even simpler solutions like QED and Crystal Acoustics. But I'm also open to other products costing up to £500.

The Gizmo app that runs J River's Media Centre is very good, but that's not an internet streamer, it simply plays files off a hard drive source within your network. Spotify's app works well too, it's now been upgraded so that if you're playing from your laptop, you can control the playback from the phone app. Previously you had to use a free 3rd party app Spotimote to do this, which wasn't the most seamless of experiences.

I suspect Tidal offer the same concept, which I'm about to try out.
