Hi everybody!

I´m trying to find the perfect match for my recently adcquired Dali Lektor 1.I listen only to vinils and the kind of music I like is old garage, psychedelia and othe rough rock from the sixties and early seventies.

I am an absoulte beginner in the hi-fi world, but I am able to hear and noticed different kinds of sound. My budget is around 500 euro.

What is in your opinion the perfect amp for this speakers?

Thanks a lot!

The Lektor 1s are nice speakers and deserve good amplification. I'd suggest the excellent Rotel RA10, which has a very good phono stage, or if you want to spend a bit more, the Rega Brio-R. The Rega has an even better phono stage, is nice and compact and sounds like a much more expensive amp than it is.

Thanks a lot for your help, mattewpiano!

I have a Harman Kardon HK 670 but I don´t like the sound. The bass is fat, have no details in mid range and the voices are totally veiled and with a kind of distortion (I can´t even understand the lyrics of the songs).
I use to listen a lot of "bad" recordings from obscure bands from the sixties and I need a little more clearness and punch. I also listen to a lot of differents genres, like trip hop and classical, so I need something versatile.
In a few days I´m going to test a Denon PM-300 v from a second hand selling. I heard it have a very good pre-amp phono section. Any experience with this amp or any opinion about Denon sound in general?
Another option can be a Cambridge Audio amp. What do you think about it?
