I`ve been looking at some reviews of the Beresford 7510 and, whilst they are mostly very positive, I`ve just read one that says there is a problem with noise through the headphone output. As I`m thinking of getting one for use with a laptop and as a headphone amp, this is a bit of a worry. Any comments.

If you are buying new and can stretch to the extra cash, get a
TC-7520. Very good headphone output for the money on this popular DAC.
It's straight forward to swap the two NE5532 op amps with a pair of
LM4562 to get a bit extra. I can hear no noise on the headphone stage
of the TC-7520 using Senn HD595s.

Check the longish thread elsewhere on the forum.

If going for s/hand, I'd wait for a 6/4 mod21 model to turn up.

Oh blimey, now you`re asking, I was jumping around all over the net, dipping in and out of forums and reviews (I think it`s called a short attention span), if I can find it again, I`ll let you know sensei...

Thanks daveyjay. I'm curious because I posted a thread on here about the headphone output and I wondered if other people have had the same issue. Cheers!
