Is this guarantee only available in the states? Can't seem to find any UK info.

I'm itching to try one of these to see how good a job the dac in my cdp2 is actually doing.

According to this page, the 30 day trial is US only.But there are a few uk dealers that stock it listed here that may be able to offer you a home demo,or at the very least you should be able to audition it in-store.....

if you can't get one on home dem but think you'll still get one anyway, when i was looking at getting one i found thomann.de to be the cheapest place by some distance.

Thanks chaps. I'm not sure if I'm trying to scratch an itch I don't really have. The dac in the quad cdp2 seems a step up from my beresford. I wonder how much better dacs can get? Home trial at the very least I reckon.
