Battle of the big guns - DALI Zensor 1 Cinema package vs B&W 685S2 etc

Heard the DALI set up last week, very impressed particularly with cinema.

Music was also good but not perfect and starting to think I need to spend more cash to get what I want. Just read the B&W 685S2 review, and got excited as I head the S1 a while back and loved it.

So for me it's looking like DALI vs B&W. I'm thinking the B&Ws are a step up in terms of quality and price. Do you reckon the extra money for the B&Ws will be worth it? My priorities are more music than cinema and I'll be buying an amp to match too (probably Yamaha).

I heard the new 685's at the Bristol Show demonstration and would expect them to be better than the Dali Zensor 1's. A closer comparision would be with the Zensor 3's but the 685's are still another £150 more.

If music is your priority then demo with the av amp and speakers with music first.

Whether the extra money is worth spending depends on how you feel after listening to them, and if you can comfortably afford them.
