B&W 684 S2 review

I have these speakers and find them excellent. I agree for the bass, but I didn’t even try to listed to them without sub, because it was obvious to me that they need support in that area.

With what amp(s) did you test them? I am using mid range Marantz AVR now but would like to improve music with stereo amp.

Yes, we certainly like the 684 S2s, and we'd recommend the Rega Brio-R or, better yet, Arcam FMJ-A19 with them. They're good matches price-wise, although if your budget allows, we wouldn't hesistate turning to the pricier (just under £1000) Rega Elex-R: great rhthymic drive and resolution, above all.
