Question Audiopro C5Alexa -5star review - BUT AWFUL ALEXA & BBC FUNCTIONALITY!

How did it get that award? I've bought one and I'm now going to send it back. Did the reviewers actually check this kind of thing?

I can’t see that the magazine has reviewed the C5. Can you provide a link?

What instructions are you using? I say: Alexa, play BBC Radio 4. Or: Alexa, ask BBC Sounds to play the latest edition of Americast.

I think I had to link it to my BBC account too.

So just to clarify, I can ask Alexa to play BBC 6music (live) and it does. However when I ask Alexa to pay a recorded show or BBC podcast it states that it will play said show but then nothing happens....

Frustrating, I can imagine, but it seems like the functionality was restricted. A disappointing reply too. I wonder if their latest models are any better?

We had an early one, from about 2015 but it has been boxed up for a few years now. I used it as a TV ‘soundbar’ as well as for streaming from iPad.

They are selling them at deal prices. I didn't actually note the date of the review. My bad but you would have thought that Audiopro would have dealt with this kind of issue in that time? Seems a bit slack on their part. It's a shame because it looks and sounds nice.
I am going to return it to Audipro if there isn't a fix. They've asked for video of the non operation. I wonder what they;ll say to that?
