Great review. Audio Research amps are right up there with Wilson speakers on my short list of gear I'd want if I ever win the lottery.

i get that. my lone qualm with these, and it's a problem with a ton of high end audio, is those big front plates that seem like they expect people to install the amp into some kind of AV rack, which nobody is going to do. not sure why so many manufacturers insist on those front pieces that extend wider than the body of the amp.

I guess most buyers would be professional users or rich consumers and just want it stored away from view.
