Thx. I have few more weeks with them then will start write some review. If there is such a thing as a bargain pair of £4K speakers then this is it.
german speakes...altough I dont know what those sound like I am able to "feel" their sound...natural, warm, uncolored, powerfull sound..germans make great speakers.

ART went because I found an AMP that really does it for me in Vitus ss010. The problem was Vitus's 25 class A watts just not quite enough to get ART under control when push really hard. I was demoing all sort of combination (including ART Deco 10 signature and ADAM Tensor, finally decided to keep the Vitus, nothing else sound so involving yet manage to slam convincingly.

Looks fantastic. 25W class A...I've been toying with the idea of trying a Sugden integrated amp with my Spendor SA1s. 25W class A...no idea if it'll be enough!

I would say Yes. SA1s drivers are not massive and even lowish sensitivity at 85, I reckon Sugden have more than enough juice to move them cones.

Cheers for your opinion Thaiman. I had a feeling I'd need to start saving up.
Classic problem that I need to audition it before I know if it's worth the change but I need to really have the cash before I do that!

I once heard a pair of AP's (cant remember which ones) but they just seemed to disapear into the room, the 3D imaged they produced was brilliant. Look forward to reading your review.
