Asking price for Panasonic BD-50?

Hi,

As the heading explains, I am looking for advice on a decent asking price for a Panasonic DMP-BD50 Blu Ray player? I am looking to upgrade to a BD-85 so am looking to sell my old one to a friend that has expressed interest but don't know how much to sell it for. Your thoughts please........

You should consider yourself lucky if it fetches £30-£40 on E-Bay. IMO.

Hi Michael. I saw this and thought - they're chucking in a performance mains cable, dealer offer - over priced! New Sony 370 can be had for a lot less.

I doubt that will sell even with all the extra goodies. Even if it was the BD-55 (with the PH4 chip), it would still be pricey, with the S-370 around that offers so much more.

I would agree with Ronald......I will be surprised if you get more than £30-40. The BD50 is 2 generations old, & brand new previous generation models can be had for less than £70, & yours is a used model.

It was a bit tongue in cheek, I thought is was way overpriced.
