Hi all
I have just made use of a free extended warrenty on my current tv and as it was uneconomical to repair i have ended up with argos vouchers. The insurance company offered us £60 less then what we paid for the TV 3 years ago so i was pretty happy with that.
I know i can sell the vouchers on ebay for very close to their value but unless there is something out there that is an absolute bargain, i dont really want the hassle so really im looking for TV in argos. Which leads me to my question....
Should i buy what i think most suits my needs from the current clearnce sales or should i wait until the new catalogue comes out in 5 days time and hope there is a better product at a keen price? And does anyone have any reccomendations for any of their range?
Ideally i'm looking for a 42 but would settle for a 40 as i know my budget of under £600 is a little measly but times are hard for us indepandant retailers at them moment. I quite like the samsung lcds and want one with an LAN output so i can make use of the samsung remote control iphone app. My main veiwing of the tv is sky hd but i am also planning on investing in a blueray player in the near future and although i know im not going to get 'something special' i would still put picture quality at the very top of my requirments.
Cheers in advance
