Are Densen and Audia a thing in the US and UK ?

I'm curious to know if those two brands although have fans in the US and UK ? Because in the european forums, they are hot topic brands along with the usual other leaders and Hegel.

Neither seem to get much coverage or dealerships. I have heard some Densen amps and they were quite good. Never heard, or even seen, anything by Audia. Will have a quick Google.

I have heard (and recommended) Densen, but have not come across Audia.

When I went through my hifi mad crisis (obsession), some 17 or 18 years ago, I had, amongst many others, a Densen Beat integrated on loan. Apart from disliking the pretentious golden knobs (it looks so much better with silver ones) I didn't much like the sound either at the time and back it went. I wonder if the later somehow unsconsiously related to the former ...

Can't knock build quality, internal and externally. simply superb but I do remember one review criticising the sharp edges ... . Well, I guess it keeps the kids away.

The Audia Flight 2 and 3 have caught my interest. There was one on that auction site for quite some time... tempting like most esoteric and obscure Italian hifi seems to be 🙂 ....
