I am not sure why you would think anyone would have compared a large boxed home based dac against what is essentially a portable device. You either want one or the other surely?

What exactly do you require a DAC to do?

If you already have a Mojo for portable use, and like the Chord neutral 'sound' (I know that DACs should sound neutral, but some people prefer a warmer sounding DAC), why not consider a 2Qute? Chord describe it as a Hugo, with the headphone amp outlet removed. It also has the advantage of costing only two thirds the price of the Hugo, but arguable sounds slightly better.

So I am guessing I was right about people on this forum having compared both.

My thoughts now is that you should try to audition expat_mikes's suggestion.

Or you could sell the Mojo and upgrade to the Hugo for use in both fixed and mobile situations.
