Arcam CD72 vs NAD C521BEE

I can get the Acram player for around 120 Euro (95GBP) and the NAD for 75 Euro (60GBP)

I'm a bit lost in cd player world! Looking to buy second hand as i think this way i will get more for the same money. With these 2 options i have NO option to audition..But i wonder if i would even hear a difference..would i? is one absolutely "better" than the next in this price range?

As the Arcam is around 12-14 years old I'd get the Nad.

Mh i did not even think about the age of the player, good point.

Yeah. Just checked and the Nad CD521BEE came out in around 2006, or that was the Group test.

Ordinarily I would recommend the Arcam, but reluctant as old CDPs can wear, such as laser and potential issues with the loading mechanism.
