I've installed tvOS18 on my first gen ATV 4K and have lost DD5.1 sound. My setup is ATV > LGC1 > LGSN9YG via eArc. Before the update non Atmos content played in DD5.1 with sound from all speakers (in wireless rears). Now non-Atmos content plays in PCM 2.0 stereo. I've looked at all the sound options on both the TV and the ATV and nothing will work. Even the option on the ATV to change format and force DD5.1 out results in 2.0 stereo. Other devices such as Sky Stream, Panasonic 4k Blu ray and Human 4K pvr are all sending 5.1 via HDMI eArc to the soundbar but the ATV resolutely refuses to play ball. Frustratingly, I can watch content on the C1's onboard Apple TV app and that plays in 5.1. I can even air play content from my iTunes library on my phone to the Apple TV and it plays in 5.1. Try and watch the same content directly from the Apple TV box and it's back to 2.0 stereo. I'm all out of ideas now and very ticked off. Anyone else having this problem?
