No way. If Apple became the owner of MQA it would lock it up in the Apple ecosystem, which you would have to buy into - to use/listen to MQA/SCL6. That would be a non-starter for a lot of people. As mentioned in your article, 4 out of 5 people don't use Apple products. Tidal should buy MQA. That way a heck of a lot more people would have access to it.
