What is it like running upscaled DVD's? It seems an absolute bargain at £219 as I need the analogue outputs.

Upscaled dvd is excellent. You will be a happy bunny - I paid £300 for mine and I'm happy.

I was just talking to a Dealer and he was raving about the Pioneer BDP-71 in terms of being a vast improvement in picture of both DVD and Blu-ray against a Panny 35/55. Any idea if this would justify paying another £380 for this benefit whilst Blu-Ray players are improving as each minute passes.

BT Shop has some yesterday and Dabs.com but stock in 3/4 weeks I seem to remember.

It's actually about £225 with shipping. I'm a bit annoyed that the retailer I bough from dropped their price by £30 this week, only about two weeks after I bough it. I can't believe Sony dropped their wholesale price by that much so soon after release.
