Hey

Just want to know if there is three pins in the back of the sub or two?

As my power cable is extremly wobbly and easy to pull out as there is only two at the bottom, and thought there was three

Thanks

Hi, just ordered a RX W 12 with some B&W MT-1 satellites yesterday. Don't now if pin configuration will be the same as RSW12. Let you Know later.

It looks like it should be a 3 pin, but at the top were the third pin should be, there is nothing.

And I am worried it has fell out, if thats possible.

What do you mean by "pins"? If you mean the power socket, it's an IEC socket rather than figure of 8.

Yeh, but if you look inside the socket in the sub, how many pins does yours have?

Mine only has two, but looks like it should have 3 as per the IEC connection, and am worried it has fell off, or it was never there.

Only noticed the other day when I was cleaning my cables.

If it's got an IEC connection, it should have three pins - like any kettle lead. That's not surprising given it's power rating, as earthing is pretty important...

Well mine only has two at the bottom of the subwoofer.

Can you just click another pin in, or has the whole power unit need to be removed?

Thanks

I'd be onto the dealer I bought it from, or:

Called them, left a message with the tech guy named dan.

Will see what he says

Well spoke to him, he said its supposed to be like that, he said its double earthed.

Anyway, he knows best.

Had an amp like that, was thinking the same at the time. Don't think its all too common but there are a few out there.

hmm I can't help on this one, I am not from UK and we have here only 2 pins, but I do advce you to go to you dealer and if it is an issue or not suppose to be like that, get a new one.

Hi,

My AW12 only has 2 pins, cable seems reasonably tight in the socket.

My RSW12 only has two pins, as does my shiny new LX-83.

I have to agree though, the plug on the back of the RSW12 has always been very loose and wobbly, but has never come out!

My RX12 has two pins on the sub and three f/male on the lead. Works just fine, so assume the tech guys correct.
