are you based in canada?

iv just picked up a 32 le 4500 from amazon for £300 delivered and its looking good to me. the only difference in specs i can see between the two are contrast levels. 2k vs. 3k.

there is ever so slight glowing from the 4 screen corners. is this normal from a led? i mean its something the girlfriend cant see, and its only noticeable in 'just scan' while watching blue rays etc. with the black bars along the top and bottom

HI Paultownsend

That is perfectly normal, dont worry about it . if you want you can turn down the backlight and brightness a bit, but this may make the viewing picture a to dark for you. During most viewing you should not notice it just as you say with films with black bars at the bottom or sci-fi space movies and otherdarkstuff such as lord of the rings

My £1600 samsung also does this slightly, its why plasma fans don't like lcd/led.

Personally i just find plasmas a bit dark, but its my "own opinion" before the plasma fans get their knives out!!! Ha Ha!!!

No based in cardiff, but from canada.

I took back my C650 for baclight bleed and bought a 50" G20 for 600, best thing I did, but got the 32LE4900 for 255.00 with code and quidco.

Why did you buy the 4500 for 300 when Currys and dixons are selling the 4900 cheaper ? it has HD freeview and netcast and DLNA?

I would try return the 4500 if you can, and get the 4900, tell them its faulty and they will send you a free courier or postage label
