Anyone done A vs B of Beresford Caiman DAC versus Cambridge Audio Dacmgaic?

The Caiman's a superb DAC - hence the five-star rating - but as our review states, system-matching is an issue: we'd argue it's slightly more fussy about partnering kit than the Cambridge. In our testing experience, you'll hear the Beresford at its best in a system with some bite and drive; more laid-back set-ups may benefit from the DacMagic's greater punch.

With respect to the poster that did an A/B test on the two DACs. He is using a very good receiver as his amplification. I do think that the DacMagic comes to life when used with a good stereo amp.

Any reason to think that same doesn`t apply to Beresford?

I'm not saying that it doesn't, I can only comment on the DM as I have one.
