Amplifier you choose…

Hi everyone,
Bit of a newbie when it comes to HiFi, but here goes

I am currently buying / sorting out multi-room audio / home cinema.
In the front room I have ACOUSTIMASS® 15 home cinema speaker system in white and a 47inch TV.

I am adding some sonos to go multiroom and control my audio through my itouch (These are also in white)

Another thing in the mix is a PS3 hooked in to the audio for surround. (Also in white)

**** My CD/DVD/Preamp is knackered ****

All my DVD’s will be played through the computer which will also be hooked into the audio

So I don’t really need another cinema CD/DVD player

So I think it would be best to get a semi decent amplifier…..

But I want a WHITE ONE if possible!!

So people…. any suggestions for a £200 – £500 amplifier that would be good for this and compliment the speakers and so on

Let us know – I bought what HiFi the other day and there didn’t seem to be any????

2 channels yeah? Well, a 2 channel white amplifier is quite a hard thing to come across...so my advice would be to completly contrast, and go with a very black amplifier. This will look much better than a silver one clashing with white, IMO. The only one I recall from your wangts is kind of a halfway house, but a very good one. The original Linn Classik was also available in white; not sure what the current one is like, but it'll set you back around £1k I think. There are music and movie variants, the DVD version being the pricier, but as you don't need that, I'd check the music version.

White though? Very limited for any bit of hardware I think.
