Amp for B&W cm9 speakers

Hi

I've been offered some B&W cm9 speakers, i was wandering would amp's should i be looking to audition. Budget of £2000

Any help would be great.

Firstly, do you have the space, The CM9s are big and need to be well clear of walls and furniture otherwise the bass is uncontrolable.

Not the easiest speaker to drive either, a serious amp is required here, no specific suggestions as I usually avoid B&W but plenty on here like them.

Worth an audition if you can get one. I had this combination for a while. It sounded good to me but I moved up to an Onkyo P-3000R/M-5000R pre/power set-up.

It has twin DACs and a pretty decent phono stage, too.

I'm currently using them with a Roksan K2... the plan is to upgrade the amplifier to the Roksan M2 in few months.
There might be better choices for the speakers but at the moment I'm more than satified.

Musical Fidelity M6i can be bought for approx £1500 ... (they are new but discontinued hence the good price)

200 Watts @ 8 Ohms, and it ca also be used for TV/home theatre)
