Any chance of an updated review?

Out of the box, they are awful. Bloated bass, terrible. Everything you mentioned in your review. However, when updated to the latest firmware they sound very good. Bloated bass has gone, volume and sound is consistent now and the ANR is superb.

I'm currently having this experience. The bloated bass is a perfected way of describing it. I didn't notice this the first time using the buds but I did a reset as I thought that would help reduce the slight static noise I was getting at quiet parts of music... I wish there was a way to force the update. It seems that it will do it whenever.
