Hello all,

I see on Amazon.com they have a release date of 26th October for this box set on blu ray, but nothing at all on the uk site. Does any one know when we will get it, why cant they release it over here at the same time, whats the problem ? It's not like they have to swim the ocean.

Have you seen the anthology set with the 'glowing alien egg'? that would make a good piece in the cinema room if anyone can afford it - £70 i think.

More to the point have you seen the HMV website? The anthology has a UK release date (25-10-2010) and is available to pre-order!!

Just take a look at how extensive this set is, pretty much essential imo.

Yeah, this is a must-buy for me. After much thought, I've decided not to go for the egg version, just the regular one, as I already own the alien head edition from Japan. My plan is to replace the dvd's in that with the Blu's, leaving 3 slots which I can use either for the AVP movies or leave them empty until Ridley Scott's prequel arrives.

Plus, my alien head gets to wear my Grado's when I'm not using them - looks very happy.......
