Advice required!

I've just ordered the Panasonic TH37PX80 plasma TV and was thinking of getting a Blu Ray player to go with it. Would the Panasonic BD30AEG be suitable? Also I have Sky+ and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a better scart lead to connect it to the TV. Would the QED P2110 or AV2110 be ok?

Don't forget an optical for the sound if you have an AV amplifier.
