Adding Cyrus X Power to 6 XP ?

I am thinking of adding a Cyrus X Power to my Cyrus 6 XP but can not test this in advance. Do you think this will give me a real improvement? It is not my intention to biamp the speakers.

My current speakers are Q Acoustics 2020i but these will be replaced soon by a pair of KEF R100 or LS50.

I wouldn't say you'll get a great benefit with the Q's, but definitely if you're looking at speakers like those you've mentioned.

I would say definitely. My 6XP always sounded a little lacklustre powering (admittedly not very sensitive) ATC SCM11s, and adding a poweramp (8 Power) suddenly put all the pieces into place and showed what both the amp and the speakers could do. The 6XP is a terrific, detalied amp, but it does need a little help in the 'ooompf' department.
