Adding amp to receiver = 9.1?

I have a Marantz SR7005 (7x125w) and want to use the front height speakers option,but this means I can't use the surround rears at the same time which seems a shame.I've got a new Marantz two channel amp,MM 7025 (2x140w)to get 9 channels driven BUT the manuals diagram shows this is only a 'front speaker upgrade' and no mention of reassigning amps.Does this mean I can't assign the receivers spare two amps so that i can have both the front height and surround rears working at the same time?

Only if the receiver is capable of 10-channel preamp. I don't think that the Marantz can do that, or any other amp I know.
