Adding a Cyrus PSX-R

I am awaiting delivery of one of the above. Where would I get the most benefit by attaching to my prevs2 or 8Power?

Try it on both when you get it, the sound changes when it is on both, one might suit you better than the other.

As others have said, try it on both. Some people prefer it on the pre some on the power amp.

Thanks, basically as with everything there are no hard and fast rules and it's all down to your ears!

all the advice you have been given is good.......but you will want 2 psxr's so start saving.

The man is right, you will want 2 in the end lol.

I am getting an 9 power soon, and will add the psx-r onto that instead.

Cyrus make the boxes so small, so that you can get 2 in the same space a noral amp / cd player takes, which means if you only have one, it leaves a dirty big hole on the rack, where another one could sit.... Watch out, the boxes multiply quickly, then your onto mono x's etc...

Try the cyrus unofficial forum as well, a wealth of knowledge on all these small breeding boxes!

Yes, it has been running through my mind about adding another psx-r. I keep telling myself that this will be the last upgrade but.............................. and I only started with a 6vs2 integrated last December then added the 8Power and it's just gone from there.

I've been hooked and have been a member of CU forum for a month or so!
