Right, this covers my home cinema & hi-fi. I'll let you know what I'm thinking of doing. I'm on the look out for a Monitor Audio RSLCR, if I manage to get one I propose on moving my RS6s into the home cinema system. I'll probably keep the BR1 as my rears & sell the BR5s. I've used the RS6 in the HC briefly when I first bought them, they sounded great then, but I wonder if my amp is enough for longer term. So with an eye to the future maybe something like the Yamaha RX-V667. Price-wise it may seem like a sideways step but it's the increase in power theta attracts. Now, moving the RS6s into the HC leaves me looking for new speakers for music system. I really would prefer floor standers but may be persuaded to go stand-mount. I love what Monitor Audio gives me and I guess it's good to go with what you know but will consider other makes. Regards budget I'd like to keep it under a thousand pounds. I'm not adverse to a bargain so would consider ex demo or ebay which may bring even higher level speakers into the mix. BUT if I take something like the Monitor Audio GS20 for example (>1000) I feel I'll probably have to upgrade my amp with the addition of power amp(s). I think im starting to get somewhere close to what I'm after with the hifi and would like to keep the xa2 amp. Can anybody comment on the above and what/how many power amps I should add (sticking with MF)
