A good budget DVD player

Movies on blu ray are still very few and I am considering changing my dvd player which is panasonic. Can anyone suggest a good DVD player?

I would go for the new Toshiba upscaling dvd player that is listed at £120 in the new whf magazine out of the moment. Apparantly it gives you dvd's a new lease of life.

Of UK products we've seen, we'd suggest theÿOnkyo DVSP406 (£100) orÿToshiba XD-E500 (£120) are the best budget players around.
You can pick up a Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player for around £220, mind you, and as well as playing the modest selection of Blu-ray discs currently available it's also a very acceptable DVD player.

That's good to know. I've just ordered one at Play.com for £199. (Although they are out of stock at present.)
