8200cd compatability

im considering adding an audiolab 8200cd to my system and wanted to know if it would work with the current stuff i have. I have a rotel ra04se and focal 705v and currently run all my music off my pc through an asus xonar essence st soundcard.

I understand that the 8200 is in another price range to my current kit so wasnt sure if it would be too much for what i have currently and if so what would be a better pairing.

The Rotel should really sound good with the Audiolab, although you won't hear the best from the CDP. However, if you're looking at upgrading the amp at some point down the line, it'll be a good choice. Why is your shortlist down to the tune of one?

thanks for that advice, i would be planning to upgrade both the speakers and amp over time so it does sound like a decent move,

the shortlist isnt really down to one, sorry i didnt really make that clear at all just everywhere i look the audiolab was getting praise so just wanted to check it was worth even considering with my current system
