WOW...

I thought it was a great spectacle from Danny Boyle...very British!

Managed to view in 3D through my Arcam, having forgotten I'd changed my HDMI cable setup to accomodate my PJ.

I had previously presumed the Arcam wouldn't display or passthrough 3D but obviously it is able to with Sky 3D...

What kind of TV set do you have? I also watched it 3d through my LG Set. Do you know that over 100,000 people were watching it 3d? I saw it on an article recently published.

can't believe i watched the whole thing in 3D,big up to sky and eurosport for broadcasting events in 3D too....

100,000 sounds impressive until you compare with how many people were watching in total. (23 million average during the whole ceremony with 26.9 million peak figures.)

So about one in every 230 viewers watched in 3D.

Inevitable stat with any new technology. What proportion of households with 3d sets watched the ceremony in 3d?

I watched it HD on my TV. How is it like watching it 3d? Is the experience any different from 2d? I will have to check it out pretty soon but I have no time at home.

It's like watching in 3D to be honest...... :shifty:

Sky anytime are showing 3D highlights, worth checking out.
