the main benefit of having two (or more) subs is that, only if set-up and positioned carefully, they can provide a more even bass distribution throughout the room (i.e. have less min/max bass spots around the room, in other words, make the distribution of standing waves more even).
one can also use two subs for getting louder bass, but that is only quantity, not quality. same can be achieved simply by turning the volume up (I am sure it is not on its max setting). quality to me here means - low distorsion (quality of sub mainly), correct filter setting (for integration with main speakers), correct level setting (not to overdo it), correct phase (all speakers must be in phase, inlcuding the sub) and, which is the trickiest, adjustment for room responce (i.e. minimising resonances and adjusting the sub's responce curve to compensate for room response).
so unless you intend to implement the above I think a second sub is not worth it.
