2 Receiver subwoofer outputs to 1 subwoofer

My Pioneer receiver has 2 subwoofer outputs. I only have one subwoofer currently connected to output 1. Would there be any benefit to using a Y-splitter in the reverse direction to combine both the outputs into 1 for the subwoofer?

Probably not, unless they're labelled L+R they're both putting out the same mono channel.

Get a second sub. 2 will be better than 1. If you get a second sub, either put the in the middle of the room one on ech side or have one at the front and one at the back.
