It sounds as though your source could be an issue, especially if there's a noticeable difference by using CD's /Blu-rays. Spotify is the lowest quality streaming provider, Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon Music all offer much higher resolution, some tracks will be high definition which is better than CD...

I think there's a difference between what we as customers think should be the case vs the reality .... we all want home demos, if those units are now to be considered 2nd hand an approx rule of thumb is they're worth about 60% of their retail cost which I'm sure is probably less than the dealer...

That's kind of picking holes when it's completely uncalled for isn't it?? You can cast from you phone / tablet to various devices like WiiM's or Echo's in the same way as you can with Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect .... so what specific name would you like to give the Amazon version to keep...
