Are you using analogue or optical out in the CCA .... from memory I think if you're using analogue it caps it but if optical it automatically goes to the highest level it can up to 24/96. That said it could be to do with Spotify but just thought it worth mentioning in case.

It sounds as though your source could be an issue, especially if there's a noticeable difference by using CD's /Blu-rays. Spotify is the lowest quality streaming provider, Tidal, Qobuz and Amazon Music all offer much higher resolution, some tracks will be high definition which is better than CD...
