Thx Paul Even if I connect R + L output from TV direct to amp still nothing. I can switch it from TV speakers to external in the setup menu but still nowt. Any ideas?

HI there, Have a Samsung 49" 4k TV. Want to send audio to my valve driven external amp. Doesn't seem to work. Tries a cable into the headphone socket, but obviously this cuts the sound to the TV speakers so can't be left in. Is there a switchable solution to this which leaves the TV speakers on...
