I really like my Quad Vena with a pair of Dali Menuet SE I have. Easily fills our dining room and living room. I have it with a Node 2i as I prefer the bluesound streaming system.

Yeah the Menuet is a great speaker in my mind, I am moving it up to the living room on the wall so we have some music up there while we eat or kids play.

Yep I don't mind paying a bit more in some ways for Made in USA or Germany, not that I am mixing at all.

I looked into these, I think they really would do what I want, just not sure they would be $1000 or so more better then the AE1 Actives or Navis I was looking at. They sounded great though on the youtube video I saw.
