Question bose C50 and KEF EGG/B&W mm1, any thing comparable?

MM1s indeed sounds graceful with its rhythm, balance and warm sense, Is it the DAC or the speaker itself? That reminds me the classicals, like iPhone 4 and KANN ; ). btw, It is UNfair for Apple give up iPhone4 but releasing iPhone 5SE

Question bose C50 and KEF EGG/B&W mm1, any thing comparable?

Whathifi reviews sonos play 1 as no Hi Res. Is Bose the same? How about the KEF Egg Duo which said to improve the sub by Music Integrity technology?

Now that there will be a hearing, IMO keep an eye on floorspeaker, then even 805D3 maybe questionable

Question Which is better or suitable, b&w 702 s2 and Contour 30i?

I have auditioned the 702 s2 with Chord's Etude. Every feelings, dynamic, rytheme, transparency etc, I get from the HD800s, the headset, I can get from the speaker too. But as a speaker, I think I only get a touch of these feelings. The Contour 30i provide simliar but a bit better result...

Question Which is better or suitable, b&w 702 s2 and Contour 30i?

The former is 8ohm, 30-300w, the latter is 4ohm 300w The amp is Chord's Etude(4ohm, 150w). Which is better or suitable, or neither? I have audited Contour 30i with Cambridge Edge A. It satisfies.

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

Correct myself , the Hugo TT is acting as a DAC/preamp since it may update to Dave in future. The speaker will also be updated. But before I can choose an very satfisfied and affordable one, I can only choose the highly reviewed, which can corp with higher level amp and dynamical and not that...

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

It is a "stop-gap" for budget and dilemma. Descriptions is not absolute. However, In my memory, it is rare case for whathifi to review a £700 floor speaker with Romeo And Juliet kinld of music. No No No. What you said "classical benefits more from ..." is a real outcome of my headgear...

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

From the review for Dali Oberon 5 by whathifi, there is a seperate paragraph on dynamical topic. This is part of the reason I choose it for Etude firstly. We move onto Prokofiev’s Romeo And Juliet where the Dalis show-off their fine dynamic reach and ability to render low level shifts with...

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

In Whathifi's articles, some devices are reviewed by human voice music, while some other devices are reviewed by both with the additional classical music - usually middle to high end devices. Personally, I think Mojo has done well with human voice. I don't feel more enjoyment when moving from...

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

First thanks for the advices. I have a Hugo TT as my DAC which I really like (more than TT2). The swing or discrepancy is for a few reasons besides budget. I think speaker is not an easy decision for there is not a "Chord" in speaker's world. I think classical benefits more from speaker...

Question What about a chord etude and Dali Oberon 5

This is a transition solution, a Chord etude + Dali Oberon 5. But still wonders this combination for classical music. How about it? As whathifi said, " As for partnering electronics, you’ll get out what you put in. The Oberons ( the Oberon 5 ) will sound perfectly acceptable with good budget...

Question What's the best source for Hugo TT

For pushing through data to the TT, It matters, as the difference between PC(with foobar2k) and KANN. I prefer only some dff or dsf files, not others. I only need a device for "pushing through data". So in your opinion, I don't have to do more. Is it right?
