Personally I wouldn't change the 602s. Fabulous speaker, you will lose some of the musicality and just gain more bass slam, which IMHO is plenty enough on the 602s anyway.DONT DO IT!

Yup, can hear it loud and clear on the ovators although it's not really a crackle, more a double plucked string or similar which I suppose does sound a little odd if not properly resolved. Quite easy to hear what it actually is even from spotify via the unitilite into the nait xs. Regards

I would be listening to something like the Naim ovator s400 with a nait xs with something like the rega rp6, or if you can push it a michell gyrodec ;-)

this will be about right I would guess unless you happen to listen 1m from your speakers, the room Coustics will also play a part as an overly bright or reflective room will sound louder due to the energy being reflected and ot absorbed by furniture etc

60db of dynamic range in a recording! I think this is a little extreme, from recollection in a thread a few months back where one user was posting the analysis of some linn hd recordings, I think the best of these was only around 14db, unless you are including the silence at the beginning and end.

ive both contradicted my first post which was correct and also incorrectly said you were wrong. 10db is 10 times power. 3db as I stated before is half power and therefore also double power point.
