Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

SOMEONE must know the answer to this question: WHY did the QED Silver Anniversary XT not get dropped down to a 4 star review when Chord Carnival Silverscreen did? Please, a simple specific answer to that simple specific question. No more "just go out and buy some cables already". That is not...

And my reluctance in getting into what equipment I have has to do with the fact that I don't want to turn this into a "this kit goes well with this cable, this one doesn't" discussion. I want to keep the discussion to particular cables in general. (Even though I understand that mixing certain...

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

You know, I know you guys want to do this your way, and I appreciate all of the non-advice that you all have given me, but can I have some advice that falls within the parameters that I set? Does anybody have any experience with the cables that I have asked about?

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

Or maybe it went something like: Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 displaced QED Silver Anniversary XT, which displaced Chord Carnival Silverscreen, which displaced QED Silver Anniversary original ?!

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

Something about What Hi Fi budget speaker cable reviews doesn't make any sense to me: Follow me here!: Chord Company Silverscreen came out and "displaced" QED Silver Anniversary XT as the best budget cable, but both remained 5 star reviewed products. THEN Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 "displaced"...

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

Won't be able to tell a difference because there will be nothing to compare what I ultimately purchase to. Was hoping that someone here might work in a stereo shop and has experience with these cables, switching them out and comparing, etc...

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables?

It was fine...it's just that I was hit with an onslaught of irrelevant replies initially, ie "don't bother, speaker wire makes no difference". I'm convinced that it does at least to some degree so I was hoping to hear back from people that have some experience with these particular...

Because it would only be a meager 14 gauge wire per positive and negative for biwiring if I only use a single run per speaker.

Fantastic! Now can I have some relevant replies of substance based on my specific question?

Which one do you think is better?: QED Silver Anniversary XT speaker cables or Audioquest FLX-SLiP 14/4 speaker cables? I don't want to get into what electronics I have - I am just curious, for those of you that have experience with these cables, which ones in general do you think are better...

Driving myself NUTS trying to choose Speaker Cables for the rear channel speakers in a home theater...

My understanding is 4TC is half of 8TC (which is bad enough?) but 4PR is half AND different conductors / dielectrics / insulation etc... I could be mistaken but I think I'm better off with a really good quality, more affordable cable for rears from another brand / manufacturer than a lesser...

Let me be clear. I have *5* B&W DM602 S3 bookshelf speakers. One in each speaker location. Not the end all be all of hi fi audio but pretty darn good "bi-wireable" speakers. If I am going to use pretty darn good speakers in the rear position, why not biwire them with some pretty decent "highly...

FLX-SLiP is inexpensive, as most of you have recommended, and is highly rated by this magazine,.. Does anybody know of high quality banana plugs that would accomodate four 14 gauge wires (8 gauge total?)? I do appreciate everyone's input.

I don't know, I want good, highly rated, moderately priced cables so I can do it and not second guess if it could be better. I'm thinking something like double runs of FLX-SLiP 14/4 would be relatively affordable and the sound would be somewhere between very good and fantastic? Thing is, can I...
