I have my Amstrad DRX 890 connected to my Denon AVR1911 then to the TV. Am I right in thinking that HD broadcasts are sent in 720i? What would be better? Amstrad set to 1080i output or Amstrad set to 720p and my Denon upscale to 1080p? Thanks

Thanks guys for your replies :) Sorry for slow reply, been away. But whilst been away a Pair of 685s have arrived. I couldnt find any 602 S3s, was looking for a while. But typical there are a few on ebay now!! Oh well. If I dont like the 685s I can easily sell them on ebay for the same price...

Thanks guys. The 602 S3s dont come up for sale often :( Ive only just upgraded to the Denon 1911. Dont get me wrong the bass is very good. But I know I can get it deaper by upgrading. Looking at the frequency resposne of the speakers show this. The 602 and 685 are very close on paper.

Hi Im using Bowers and wilkins 601 S3s. Ive managed to grab a Denon 1911 for £170 on ebay! Did think of the 1912, but the extras it gives I dont need it, like Airplay, which I have a Apple Airport Express etc. 1911 will be better than my Sony DH800 right?

Thanks guys. All very confusing with this version badging. You are right it does say Ethernet high speed on the qed site. Does a cable with Ethernet and high speed automatically have the audio return channel?

Does the latest qed profile support Ethernet and audio return channel? It only says v1.4, but that means nothing as I've learnt!
