Hi, many thanks, it's through the amplifier I mainly listen which i believe uses the web browser , unless anyone knows otherwise I don't know how to connect it to the amp unless I use a phono cable from the phone

Apologies if this has been asked before but are there any high res streaming services that provide gapless playback on a Yamaha Amp or Web Browser please? Tried Qobuz and Tidal and neither of these has the facility. Thanks

I would like to try Amazon music HD but cannot seem to find anyway of benefiting from the HD quality on my AV receiver. I have a Yamaha RX-A860 which hasn't got an in built app , it has Qobuz , Tidal & Deezer and wondered if anyone could assist and tell me if it is possible to get this? Thanks

It has to be Active Audio in Derby until it closed in the 90's, great service, top notch knowledge and a wide rage of equipment. I remember when looking for new kit they let you have 7 day home demo. Unfortunately after many RAM Raids they eventually closed. Never had a decent shop in the city...

Went to Richer Sounds Nottm and wasnt impressed with either Denon. I tried an Onkyo which was so tinny and shrill , even withthe bass up full was terrible. Yamaha was so much better Tested them with Bronze 5 & 6 speakers but Dali equiv' sounded much better. Goes to prove never believe magazine...

I am looking to replace my exisitng Harmon Kardon AV amp and can get both of the Denon amps for around the same cost. Should I go for the older model 4200 or the newer 2300. Will the 4200 sound better? I don't need Atmos and wil be buying the Monitor Audio Bronze 5 AV speaker package shortly...

Hi, Can anyone advise on the best place to locate my rear surround speakers for my 5.1 sub sat system? Are they best at ceiling height angled down toward me or at ear level please? Due to the size of my room the speakers are only slightly behind my seated position. Thanks
