    High-resolution audio: clarity or confusion?

I myself have both downloaded albums from HDtracks (in 24/96, maximum capability of my DAC) and I have also recorded my own music in 24/96 and down sampled it to 16/44.1 and the difference is obvious on my system. Heck, it's obvious listening through the headphone outlet on my interface. This...

    Sonos 1 or what ?

I'm quite familiar with both those Jamo A102 speakers and the Sonos Play 1's. I can understand why you'd be so taken with them by comparison, however, I do feel you may be better served heading to your local dealer and trying out some small bookshelf speakers. They will integrate better with...

Or if it's still in your budget, a Project Debut Carbon USB. Also very good for the money.

Roksan Kandy BT , Rotel RA 1570 or other?

Theoretically, the Rotel should should be an ideal match for the B & W given they are owned by B & W.

Horrible experience with Q Acoustics 2020i

This is very reminiscent of a previous thread whereby the OP kept blowing his B&W speakers with an Arcam A19, mainly due to misuse despite forumites advice. Just because an amps volume control can be turned up, doesn't mean it should be. My own amp requires that the volume be turned up no...

    b&w cm9 for stereo listening..

Power isn't the issue here, with 120 watts @ 8 ohms, the Rotel has plenty of power. The concern is that the 683s have a minimum impedance of 3 ohms, so the question is whether or not the Rotel can handle swings like that.

Panasonic TXP60ZT65B now or wait for Panasonic AX900 4K TV

Hi Luke, if concerned about image retention, Panasonic have an option in their picture settings menu for "pixel orbiter", I can't remember whether or not this is set on by default, but this reduces the likeliness of image retention taking place.

Why is second-hand Leema gear taking a huge hit?

I can't speak for Leema personally, but I have dealt with my fair share of consumers over the years, and there certainly is a concern if/when a brand goes bust or is financial trouble. I think it's more from a servicing/parts standpoint more than anything. Myself, if I like a product, I buy it...

    ROTEL 1582 MkII Power Amp

We have the original RB1582 driving KEF LS50s at our store and they sound incredible connected to it. Haven't yet ranged the RB1582 MKII though.

Soundbar connection to TV without ARC & digital input

If you get a soundbar with multiple HDMI inputs, you can connect both your Sky box and DVD player, using the soundbar as a switcher thereby negating the need for ARC, optical out or phono out. Assuming all your tv watching is done via sky.

Rotel RA 1570 or Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6 + 651W

I'd be inclined to look at the Rotel, I've been very impressed with the quality of their products recently.
