    Mission 751

Too bad I just missed the 75c center speaker for 40 pounds on an auction site:( They seem to be pretty rare.

    Mission 751

I did a blind test between Spotify and Foobar with asio4all drivers, and the difference is huge. Maybe this is because i am using a onboard soundcard right now, ans the Asio drivers are better then the onboard ones. The sound is great especially with acoustic music. I really enjoy it. I think...

    Mission 751

It surprised me too, that they sound warm. I have tried them with the Marantz, and still the wharfedales were better. But now for the first time i used flac with foobar instead of spotify, and they sound different! There is more clarity and bass! So maybe with a better amp an a better source...

    Mission 751

I did not bought the Sansui, because i thought my NAD c320BEE would be even a better amp. I have used them now for a couple of days, and if i am honest, i'm not amazed. They are no match for my Wharfedale 10.1s. The sound of the Mission is more musical and warm, but the 10.1 are smoother, more...

    Faulty speakers?

Hey have to be faulty, because the Wharfedale 9.1 speakers are warm and full sounding. I now have the Wharfedale 10.1 and they are amazing, but a lot more transparent, detailed and neutral sounding. The 9.1 are an easier listening!

    Mission 751

Hello, i can buy the orginial Mission 751(mk1) speakers for 115 pounds at a hifi store, including delivery. Would you guys recommend buying these speakers or are the Q acoustics 2020 a better buy?

Tannoy or Mordaunt Short 5.1? Quick reply appreciated as no speakers!

How can this be so cheap? The tannoy ts-10 has a retailprice of 300 pounds and got a 5 star rating here on whathifi! You will get the other speaker almost for free?!

First system: personal use and house parties. Under £350.

You dont want 5.1 surround sound i suppose? Cause then you can get the qacoustics 1010i 5.1 pack for 200 pounds at superfi. Add a secondhanded reciever and you have a great package. If you want stereo i would recommand some active speakers like the krk rp5 and a dac like the alrwady mentioned...

Best Value AV Receiver + Speaker System Package for PS3

Do you want sattelites or normal speakers? The best package would be the q acoustics 1010i 5.1 package for 250 pounds. You could buy a cheap second hand marantz reciever second hand for 50 pounds(sr4400 for example) and you will have a great set. But maybe you need 3d?

    Do i need HTPC????

You can buy a mediaplayer like a WD tv Live, it works perfect. Consider a LG plasma too! The px990 is the same price as the g20 and it will be better and it is 3d too:)

Idea: An AV receiver good for music!

I bought a second hand Denon avr3805 and a marantz pm6002 for a total of ? 400, but it still does not sound as good as my stereo nad c320bee nad. How can people use these avr's sometimes with stereo speakers that cost more then 1000 pounds? A stereo amp for 100 pounds will sound better ha
