Cant comment on the Marantz but do have the Arcam A15 the A5's bigger brother paired with the right set of speakers its a very smooth capable Amp.

There is no such thing as to much power with an Amp ive always found its best to have power in reserve if you need it.

I have the A15 and im running it with AE320 floor standers i love the sound very smooth the new Arcams are more detailed than the older ones you really need to pair them with the right speakers they run very nicely with 3 ways

HiFi has moved on quite a bit in the last 30 years if you like the Arcam sound maybe have a look at the new Arcam Amps. They are very detailed but do need to be paired with the right speakers your speakers may well be excellent but they may not sound so good with your next Amp. If your to far...

Im running an Arcam A15 with AE320 floor standers in a room 6.5 feet by 11.3 feet i cant hear any negative effects here sounds awesome.

The new Arcam's are worth a look the new ones are a lot more detailed than to older ones.

I traded my AE500's in and went back to floor standers im now running AE320's have an EQ I really like nice and smooth
