Why would you want to buy the Duo's for TV? The Duo's are designed stereo speakers for music. Of course you can connect them to your TV, either via Bluetooth, airplay via Apple tv or via the Formation Audio, but the fact remains that they are not designed for that. I think there are better...

You are right, Chromecast is still not supported. The subject of an integrated system is one all manufacturers have to tackle. I have not seen any available software /app do that, whether it is KEF, B&W, HEOS or any other.

True, a lot of manufactures have supplies delayed due to the Suez blockage. Ever since the takeover from Sound United there has been more focus on the formation series again, most notably on the music app. As i said before it is not perfect yet, but definitely a big step in the right direction.

If it is a B&W supply issue than other resellers could face a similar (non) availability. Of course depending on their stock level. Quite annoying for you. Did they offer you the Audio only for a limited time or as compensation?

No i do not. The sound of my TV would not match the Duo's, so I only use it in Stereo 2.1.

I have them at home, the Duo‘s with bass and the audio to connect my turntable. They sound excellent, with real clarity, especially with high/res sources. I also use them with my TV via airplay from Apple TV which works great without lip sync issues. I listened to several active speakers...

Excellent choice, I hope it works out for you. In my opinion they are the best sounding active speakers around. The new B&W music app still needs some work and need some additional sources, but it is a huge step in the right direction.

I have the Formation Audio streamer connected to my turntable. I agree that the Audio is expensive, but it works flawlessly. My internet is not the best but i hardly have any issues with the speakers. You are correct that you cannot connect the speakers to each other (no master/slave concept)...
