    Date format

Hi, Just looked at the Blogs section of your site when I notcied the first blog regarding the "Chord Company" seemed to be dated the 7th January 2010, so I scrolled down looking for newer blogs only to find they got older in date - mmmm. I then realised the dates are not in UK format, so for...

Panasonic TX-P46G20 versus TX-P50G20 for SD?

Hi Paul, I was in the same boat as you are far as "will SD pictures look better on a 46" compared to a 50 TV" about a month ago. I went along to my local Panasonic shop as they had a 50" G20 along side a 46" G20 which enabled me to compare the picture on both. I sat and watched them for a...

    DMR-BW780 Freeview HD signal quality?

Wondering if anyone can help... I've just bought a DMR-BW780 blu-ray recorder and connected it up to my TX-P46G20. When The 780 is switched the G20 HD signals just say "No Signal" and I cannot get any Freeview HD channels, as soon as I turn the 780 off the channels are viewable again. I...

BBC iPlayer on Panasonic Viera Cast?

Hi, I have a P46G20 and was wondering if anyone here can shed any light on whether the BBC iPlayer will make it onto Viera Cast? I don't have Freesat, just use the Freeview tuner. Any news gratefully received. Thanks

    Panasonic DMR-BW780/880 prices !!

Is it me or do these seem extremely expensive for what they are ?? The BW780 at £650 only contains a 250GB disk and the BW880 at £800 only a 500GB version. Had a look on the Japanese site the same versioned recorders contain 750GB and 1000GB HDDs respectively. I know they are cutting edge...

    This months TV giant test

Thanks for the quick update Also may be worth considering HDMI 1.4a as a feature as some TV's will start appearing with these (I think the G20 has 1 for example) Thanks

just looked at the online specs for the G20 and this also seems wrong! The TV has a PC D-sub connector, the web page states it has does not. http://www.whathifi.com/Review/Panasonic-TX-P42G20/Specs/ Also, just wondering when you will put a line in the spec web page for Freeview HD...

True, LED backlighting is something the G20 would not have because its a plasma though rather than something that was not included. However the G20 has freesat and freeview HD tuners, 2 USB ports, and SD card slot, DLNA, USB (PVR) recording feature, one 1.4a ready HDMI port an dis THX...

Thanks for the update guys. I'm not trying to be antagonistic here, but I am wondering why the G20 got 4 stars for features on Page 42, yet to me seems to have the most features of the TV's in the super test? Just a question, I'm not beating the Panasonic drum, just trying to work out how the...

I'm wondering if someone from WH mag can confirm there was a mistake on page 42 of the latest issue. I noticed an error with the G20 feature list, the TV has 2 USB inputs on the side of the TV however the feature chart states it has none. Cheers

Which was the point I was trying to get accross earlier in this thread, can you really justify £1800 for a slightly better picture? This is down to personal choice. On a more logical note, if you compare the features of the Samsung, it is 3D ready and has a freeview HD tuner built in, but has...
