    Goodbye Qobuz, hello Spotify Lossless!

I myself use streaming (paid for) as a means to find new artists to listen too..and try to support by buying the physical media or maybe even go to a gig....so streaming..is also helping artists to be found, noticed and in the end exposure if they're good enough ..it's surely not all bad news...

    Goodbye Qobuz, hello Spotify Lossless!

That's why I can't give up my Roon subscription, the interface is just so good.... If I had Qubuz sound quality, Roon's interface and Spotify's vast library.....if only Carlsberg were in the music streaming business.....it would probably be ........🤣🤣🤣

I used to own a prisma...something really annoyed me about it..but I don't remember what it was..lol.....I think I moved to the Mytec Brooklyn bridge after that...these days in my living room set up is the SOtM sms-200 neo ultra, that really is a excellent streaming transport,

    Anyone going to the Bristol

I wish I could have got the time off work and travel down....Elite audio from Anstruther,Fife are taking the Electrocompaniet integrated amps to the show with the revival audio speakers along with some Lindemann gear.....they usually take the big expensive mono blocks of Electrocompaniet so it's...

Question Advice on a networked amp with speaker A & B output.

It's a big ask for a budget'ish amp to drive two pairs of speakers at the same time in my opinion....even if my current Electrocompaniet Eci 6mkii had two sets of binding posts and the option of A/B speaker outputs ..I still don't think I'd entertain that idea....and it's a powerful...

    Other turntable manufacturers

I've had a couple of pro-ject tables over the years, a budget debut then, the first iteration of the xperience. I don't really know what I was thinking in 2015-16, but I had this great idea to sell my records, sell my turntable and just rip and stream my cd's,....Well....it wasn't long before...

Wishful thinking, If I had £5k to spend on HiFi, what will be first on my list?

Quality not Quantity in the case of this beautifully built amplifier. It'll still drive most speakers with ease, I'd only have reservations if I was thinkking about some insensitive Electrostatic speakers from Magnepan or similar.

Wishful thinking, If I had £5k to spend on HiFi, what will be first on my list?

My friend has a 507z....it's a beast of a thing and sound's very good indeed, I thought my Electrocompaniet eci6 mkii wss quite a beefy unit, but the Luxman towers over it...

Question Suggestions for foundational parts of a longer term vinyl setup

My Petite's are 1.8 metres apart and the soundstage is amazing.......Tool's, Chocolate chip trip from the Fear Inoculum album is a cracking wee tester for sound stage width....it's almost like a demo track they just threw in there, but the sound quality is anything but. Hb. Just have a play with...

Question Suggestions for foundational parts of a longer term vinyl setup

I think they were pretty good straight out the box and any burn in must have been subtle...I didn't notice any big difference.....they just sound fantastic with any amp I've used, Primaluna Dialogue premium hp, Mytec Brooklyn amp plus, Electrocompaniet eci80d and my current Electrocompaniet Eci...

Question Suggestions for foundational parts of a longer term vinyl setup

What Neat have managed to do with the little classics is nothing short of breathtaking, considering those diminutive dimensions.

Question Suggestions for foundational parts of a longer term vinyl setup

Just checked the supplied plate size on the Atacama Moseco, 130mm wide x 170mm deep, a good fit for the Neats I would say.
