    New Welsh-Fi, I mean Leema!

I'd really like a Tucana mkii Anniversary edition....proper old school modern amp if that makes sense 😁 I've ticked off a few brands on my..amps (to own) bucket list and Leema is one of them along with Luxman and Sugden.

Biamp Monitor Audio BX2 with Kenwood KRF-X9090D

It looks like you are trying to achieve a bi-wiring set up not bi-amping( you need two power amplifier's and pre -amp for a proper bi-amped setup) as per the thread title, just hook your speakers up as normal in pure direct mode, bi-wiring has little if any at all sonic benefits.....bi-amping...

Speaker placement, acoustics and PMC Twenty5

Yes...I did read the next gen of the Twenty series were not quite as lean sounding as the original that I had . never had a chance to listen to any of the next gen pmc's unfortunately....I remember I traded in my pmc's for my now Neat Petite classics, the shop I used weren't a pmc dealer ( the...

Oh did I spell wrong..yes it's the Neat petite classic I use.....and the Electrocompaniet Eci 6mkii is just.....well you just forget it's there in musical terms and I don't think I can give it any better praise than that, it's bloody huge physically though.....but I reckon it is my endgame...

OK fair enough....if the Rega is the more recent purchase that's understandable, it'd be great if we all had wads of cash and upgrade everything at the same time....lol...but alas it's not possible....we all have to endure the old bottle neck in the system at some point or another. My main...

Yeah..everyone has a opinion I suppose.....but that turntable /cartridge and phono stage setup are writing cheques the amp canny cash..lol.....in my honest opinion...Supernait 2 is where my cash would be going..if it's used kit your going for....very reliable and Naim gear holds it's value very...

Hi again Entrigo...yeah try with the focals first before spending any money...but I'll say this, on looking at your system signature, if it was me, I think I'd be looking to take the amplification to the next level, not your speakers....just yet, I'm pretty sure those focals will scale up a...

Speaker placement, acoustics and PMC Twenty5

....so are the speakers going to be just in front of a bay window?I I used to have a pair of original pmc twenty 21 with Naim amplification.....they didn't really work in front of my window, they faired much better firing across the shorter side of the room (placed along the longer wall)....but...
